Services
Clients must be part of the weekly schedule before participating in boarding and pop-in services however we do not presently have any weekly service spots available. Please contact us if you would like to be placed on the waiting list. Thank you.
Boarding
Boarding services are reserved for canine clients who visit weekly for Play Dates. Boarding includes ample affection, cuddle time and comfy sleeping accommodations in addition to all the standard features of Play Dates.
Rates are: $90 (Monday-Thursday) ~ $110 (Friday-Sunday) ~ $130 (Holiday)
Play Dates
Play Dates include athletically-appropriate exercise, enriching engagement and supervised socialization with compatible canines. They are available Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-3:30pm in either 3 or 6 hour increments. Without exception, the minimum weekly commitment is two 3 hour Play Dates or one 6 hour Play Date.
Rates are: $30/60 (Monday-Thursday) ~ $40/80 (Friday-Sunday) ~ $50/100 (Holiday)
Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance with a Family Dog Walkers Team Member:
Extended stays over the regularly scheduled 3 or 6 hours will be billed at a rate of $5 per 30 minutes.
Play Date drops offs before 8:30am or pick ups after 3:30pm will be billed at a rate of $1/min (Monday-Thursday) ~ $1.25/min (Friday-Sunday) ~ $1.50/min (Holiday).
Play Dates on Fridays-Sundays or Holidays are offered on an as-needed / limited basis only.
Pop-In Visits
Pop-in visits lasting 15-30 minutes are available on an as-needed / limited basis and may include athletically appropriate exercise in low-traffic neighborhoods.
Rates are: $1/min (Monday-Thursday) ~ $1.25/min (Friday-Sunday) ~ $1.50/min (Holiday)
Transportation
Transportation cost is calculated per mile within a 4 mile radius of business location (near Lake Temescal in Oakland, CA). Clients outside the service area are welcome but will need to be responsible for transporting their canine companion(s).
Rates are: $2/mile (Monday-Thursday) ~ $2.50/mile (Friday-Sunday) ~ $3/mile (Holiday)
Wash and Dry
Wash and dry services are available in combination with another on-site service.
Rates are: $1/min (Monday-Thursday) ~ $1.25/min (Friday-Sunday) ~ $1.50/min (Holiday)
More Information
Additional Dog Discount
10% discount applied for each additional dog (from the same household) that shares a service.
Billing
Invoices are emailed at the beginning of each month for services provided in the prior month.
Acceptable payments, which clients agree to pay within 10 business days of invoicing, are:
1) checks made payable and hand delivered (not mailed) to Family Dog Walkers
2) Venmo to @Winter-Williams-7
3) PayPal to winter@familydogwalkers.com
Clients agree to cover any fees associated with a payment.
Cancellations
Effective April 1st, 2022, clients agree to pay the following so that Family Dog Walkers can operate sustainably:
· 50% of pre-scheduled service pricing if less than a 3-day notice of cancellation is given, 75% if 2-day and 100% if less than 1-day.
· 50% of regular service pricing (for 2 weeks) if services are paused or discontinued with less than 2 weeks’ notice.

Temperment
Every effort is made to ensure compatibility between canine clients that are spending time together. All must be spayed or neutered. We do not serve dogs that exhibit concerning, destructive, disruptive, dangerously aggressive or extremely anti-social behavior. If exceptions are temporarily made while behavior modification plans are enacted, a “Special Supervision” increase of 10-20% may be applied to any and all billed services.
